IP addresses

The Coventry Labour Party site does not automatically capture or store personal information except where stated below.We do not log the user's IP Address or the location of your computer or network on the Internet apart from any petition you may sign. (If you are connected to the Internet you have an IP address, for example an IP address might read "154.198.99.9").

Site membership

Details of your name and email address are collected if you register for the site, or subscribe to a newsletter. Only these personal details are stored automatically for purposes of site access or emailing newsletters only. All other details on the registration form are voluntary.

Petitions

If you complete one of our petitions, the personal information you provide (i.e. Name, email and address) will be stored until the petition is presented. IP and email addresses are collected solely for the purposes of verifying the validity of the “signature”. Once the petition has been presented, all this information is deleted from our database.

Data collection and use

You may be asked for personal information if you complete one of the forms on this site. This information will not be stored on any database. In each case we will only use the information about you for the purpose for which you provide it. Coventry Labour Party does not sell or disclose this information to outside organisations or individuals, nor transfer it outside the United Kingdom.

Information on children

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16.

Our site contains links to other sites and servers. Coventry Labour Party is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

We will continue to evaluate our efforts to protect your information and will update our privacy policy whenever necessary.
