The Coventry Labour Party site does not automatically capture or store personal information except where stated below.We do not log the user's IP Address or the location of your computer or network on the Internet apart from any petition you may sign. (If you are connected to the Internet you have an IP address, for example an IP address might read "126.96.36.199").
Details of your name and email address are collected if you register for the site, or subscribe to a newsletter. Only these personal details are stored automatically for purposes of site access or emailing newsletters only. All other details on the registration form are voluntary.
If you complete one of our petitions, the personal information you provide (i.e. Name, email and address) will be stored until the petition is presented. IP and email addresses are collected solely for the purposes of verifying the validity of the “signature”. Once the petition has been presented, all this information is deleted from our database.
