Coventry PCT Must Make Sight Saving Drug Available
Following the success of campaigners Ray Liggins, Jean Middleton and Patricia Meadows of their legal battle through the High Courts to get Warwickshire PCT to prescribe them Lucentis – a sight-saving drug.  Geoffrey Robinson MP is calling for Coventry PCT to follow suit as quickly as possible without any delay and make the drug available.

BID must allow a 3 month moratorium - MP
Coventry North-west MP Geoffrey Robinson MP is seeking a meeting with the Board of Directors for BID and requesting that they allow a 3 month moratorium on the BID’s activity to enable proper consultation to take place. The legal situation surrounding BID needs to be clarified as they could be open to challenges under EC/ECHR law.

It has also come to light that Advantage West Midlands (AWM) have declined to support Coventry BID.
